Had a n760c clie and picked up a nx70v open box for $479...was too good a price to walk away from it (plus $70 for bestbuy 2 yr warranty). also just got a T665 for $229 at compusa sale last week (not opened yet probably will go back).
although there is a software section to this site I would like to get a quick read of nx70v users for apps to replace -
1) the Clie Viewer - have read (and notice !) that the clie viewer rebuilds thumbnails each time and doesn't hold them in memory for the next time.
2) app for password input (when turned on) that doesn't display with the password typed in
3)if there is a good keyboard interface app that would be good
4)photostand seems to allow only a 10 second time frame to changing pictures (would like it to change faster, say 5 seconds)...is there a better replacement app for the photostand?
5) if u think of any other 'must' have apps for this model then...I'm listening :)
thanks for any input. was going to take the nx70v back since it cost so much more then the t665 but I'm starting to really like it.
the picture feature is ok but to be honest I like the interface of palm more then my ppc models when I'm on the go and out of the office...just my two cents mind u. and the larger screen really is nice.
