I've had my TH55 for a month now, and I keep having to pinch myself, because I had to carry 3 spare batteries for my NZ90 and could literally watch the power indicator go down over a period of minutes. (Really!)

I haven't had the battery go below 75% yet.

I used it the other day to play MP3's for background music at an event for 4.5 hours the other night, and it still read 85%. Now, of course, that's with the backlight turned off, but I regularly hotsync and transfer files without the power adapter hooked up for 1-2 hours each day, and rarely does the battery get down to 90%.

I guess I really DON'T need to plug it in every night at my bedside; but it's a habit.

I had reservations buying a PDA without a user replaceable battery, but I've had no need to worry and my fears have been for naught.

This is the first PDA I've had since my HandEra 330 where I didn't have to worry about the battery running down, don't have to carry spare batteries and can easily go away for a three-day weekend without taking the charger.

WOW! ;)

Neat how power almost becomes a non-issue with the TH55 isn't it?
I never worry on trips because I stay within the continental US for the most part. I always have plenty of power for reading books or whatever really.
It's great.

I always plug mine in when I get home. It's a daily thing that I adhere to partially because I run an automatic backup at around five every morning.

It makes me sore when these pundits say that our Clies are overdesigned novelty pieces.
Meanwhile we sit back and enjoy the good life. (A soothing balm)

I charge overnight, WiFi is one of the only things that hits the battery really hard. Picselviewer isnt that great, neither is Bejeweled 2, but for everything else the battery will take you places.
