Everytime my clie soft resets I get

FATAL ALERT:
MemoryMgr .c, Line:3675,
Invalid chunk ptr

It doesnt go away until 3 or 4 soft resets..any help is appreciated..thank you!

Sounds like you either have a software issue or not enough RAM memory. You can do a warm reset and try to delete some stuff or narrow down the offending app. Worst case is a hard reset and restore from your known good backup. Forget the PC desktop if you have HotSync'd already.

What software have you installed/updated on your PDA lately?
I'd look at that, first....

I've got the same problem when I wanted to use Yishow explorer for clié 4.5 on my NX.

I would not have a problem doing a hard reset only I dont want to lose my Address book, Agendus, and Yesterday..the programs that I have entered a lot of info into. Would it be pretty easy to find the files that hold the information for these programs?

Thanx for the help so far, I will try and get rid of the offending program.

Yes, they are under the Sony Handheld folder on the desktop PC. Look at the folders under the hotsync name and you'll see the folders for address and stuff. Set the conduits to desktop overwrites handheld when you go to sync it.

Make a backup copy of the whole Sony Handheld folder until you have everything satisfactorily restored.

You need to be very careful with YiShow, the versions get very confusing, trust me! What worked on the NR won't work on the NX and vise versa, I think that has changed very recenty so the latest version works on both now.

Hello:

I've the same problem but with PLUCKER.

Fatal alert, MemoryMgr.c, Line:3675
Invalid chunk ptr Reset.

I'v already installed Plucker a month ago and it was working fine but since yesterday I've tryed to sync plucker on my CLIE and when I try to look at the channels I've already sync with Plucker, Clie says: Fatal Alert: Fatal Exception, Reset

and

Fatal alert, MemoryMgr.c, Line:3675
Invalid chunk ptr Reset.

Any idea if it is a Plucker problem or a Clie memory problem?
