Hello. I brought my TH55 6 mos ago and only until now I start to make full use of it. However, I have a problem on Clie Mail. While the inherent NetFront 3.1 web browser works fine, same does not work for Clie Mail 2.1. I have my own wireless AP in home and once I try to use Clie Mail to receive and send e-mail through wireless wifi, firstly the communication status pop up and I saw sync: failed and then an error windown pop up saying SMTP: Unable to Connect. Check server name and port number. I think the pop port is set 110 and SMTP 25. Anybody can help?

It doesnt have ssl encryption, so it doesnt work with most mail servers. If you have a pop server, w/o ssl, it should work, otherwise, you need to buy another program.

Thanks. Actually I downloaded Eudora and it works fine. But checked with my friend who is using TJ37H with ClieMail and it's okay. However, the Eudora cannot download attachment and can only deal with English text (my TH55 is a Hong Kongest verson so can display Chinese) and also utilize 2/3 of TH55 screen only. I think there should be some other way.

Get snappermail and a gmail account.... (there are plenty of posts explaining how to set it up)... You will have no problems
