I noticed today (while trying to enter a meeting into datebook) that some meetings were just disapearing. I hit Ok after setting everything correctly and when I was going to check it: it just disapeared! Curiously if I choose week-view or month-view I could see the point marking a meeting, I just could see the meeting in the day-view!

Have this happened to you before? What did you do?

Are you just using the Clie Datebook app or are you using Agendus or Datebkx or something else?

Try this: go to Clie Datebook/Options/Security and set your security to "show records." Then see if things still disappear. If they still disappear, let us know.

Hi, I'm using Agendus but checked Datebook.prc and the entry still do not shows.... After some days I noticed that those entries re-appears once in a while but then disapears again!!!!

Today I hotsync my ux50 and the entries do appear correctly in Clié Desktop so this is mainly and annoying problem!!!

Your best bet is to hard reset! ;)

Now for Hotsyncing, I'm not a fan of Hotsync. I'm always afraid that after a hard reset that I might loose my data if I put stuff on my device before hotsync so I really don't use it much. I would recommend that use the Backup Method first then hotsync, by forcing your PC to accept your changes.

Backup for data first with BackupMan then use its Restore Individual Files feature to restore files like the Datebook Databases, ToDo databases, MemoPad, Notes, etc. Then test to see if your information appears.

Hotsyncing might cause whatever problem you have to come back. Go to C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\ then look for your Hotsync name. It should be shortened to 6 characters if your name is more then 6 characters. Open that folder and open the Archive folder. That also contains all the programs that were saved from your handheld. Move all these files into another folder. Move these files to another folder outside of the Archive folder into another folder in these locations (for now) (ie. My Documents, Desktop).

Now I would recommend you install the same apps on your device but not the same files. This meaning, get Agendus from your PC and reinstall it to your device through Hotsync, Data Import, which ever way you feel comfortable. Once this is done, make sure your Hotsync is set to Overwrite the Data on your PC with your Handheld, except for Install.

Hope this helps. I'm not too proficient in Hotsync methods but that's what should work.
