Following up rgs3229, has anyone heard about a Clie NZ90 running PPC...this is TOO BIG to ignore. Seniors please advise.

I was on the fence for a long time (PPC vs. Palm ) before deciding on another Clie...NZ90. Being new to this forum and new to fully utilizing a PDA's capability, my inexperience led me to believe that PPc/Windows would be where all the investments would be.
However, by watching daily the level of technical excellence on this forum , with awesome responses and concern for each other,
I'll sleep better tonight knowing I made the right decision.
Chalk it to "post purchase behavior".
Thank you for your comments....I am relieved because I love everything about the NZ90.:)

Unless they figured out how too cram 48 more meg's of RAM into the already packed insides of an NZ90, it would be impossible to run PPC2002 on an NZ90. I can't even imagine the horror of trying to run such an ineffecient operating system like PPC2002 on a 16x16Mb hand held.

i used 3 palm devices:
pilot personal
palm v
clie n710

and at that point got pulled over to the dark side by
getting a toshiba e740 with PPC & wifi built in.

the 'awe' lasted about 3 weeks until my first power / all data
loss (their backups are useless BTW )

after leaving the thing charged & turned off over a weekend
and on monday finding a dead battery and again lost data

i switched back to my n710 and i'm now on my 4th palm
the nz90

as everyone on this forum mentioned putting PPC on nz90
would be like a step back not forward

as always my 2c
