In those 3 days did it ever occur to you to read the manual? Or how about search Sony's support site? They have a video tutorial showing EXACTLY how to do this. Here's the link since you couldn't find it.
http://esupport.sony.com/perl/tutorial-model.pl?template=EN&mdl=PEGSJ22
Now, since it's not at the top of the page and you probably won't find it, look near the bottom under the category labeled - Sony PictureGear Software.

Dude, this is the technological equivalent of asking where to put gas in your car without reading your manual or checking with the manufacturer's website.
Seriously, 3 days? It would have taken me 1 second to realize the first place I should go was Sony's site since, after all, it is a Sony product. I can understand not having a manual, but the Internet is the next best thing.
So, did that fix your "problem" or what?

DUDE, I did that yesterday. I still did not get anywhere. I understand that this may be a simple problem for you to fix with your vast knowledge of the world, but i was just asking for a little help. I have been to the sony support site a few times and nothing there has helped me. Thanks again!

It's been a while since I used the program, so I can't remember exactly what to do, but if you could explain what you have already tried to do, we could probably help. I can also install the program when I get home and see how I used to do it. From within picture gear lite, I think you need to select the images you want to send to the clie. The go up to the menu and find the option that says something like 'export to handheld'. Select that and tell it the dimensions and format that you want the pictures in. Press OKAY, let it do its thing, then hotsync. I seem to recall it being about that easy.

What program tells you that the fiels could not be transferred? Is it Hotsync? If so, can you copy and paste a copy of the log from the hotsync (only include the most recent hotsync... there are dates seperating each session).

Use to mouse to click and highlight what you want to copy, then right click on the highlighted text and select Copy. Then paste it and post it here.

Asking for help means that you need to share information for us to help you. Telling someone your car won't drive isn't helpful. Telling them it's out of gas is. As MicahDG said, what kind of errors are you getting? We can't guess what is going wrong.
For me, I wouldn't even use the PictureGear software. Mostly because it limits you to hotsync to get your pictures on the Clie. i would buy AcidImage or get some other free image app that will allow you to view jpg, bmp, gif, and others directly from the MS. That way you don't have to jack with converting the pictures before you can use them.
