I have to agree with Jeff. The "This is the end of Palm OS" thing is getting old. PalmSource's move into the mobile phone arena will ensure that they can survive as a company even without Sony or palmOne.

I was also reading an interview with David Nagel (
full interview (http://www.infoworld.com/article/05/02/14/HNpalmsourceceo_1.html)) on Palm OS Linux. If what he said is correct, and the reference drivers are released for Linux first, then the time to polish the operating system and drivers would be greatly reduced. This would mean that PalmSource would be able to get products into the hands of licensees much faster than if they had to wait for or write their own drivers of Palm OS Cobalt.
