Is NX60 worth 410?

Hi I already have the Tungsten T is this worth upgrading?

those two PDAs are dramatically different. I suggest you assign points to each feature as a means of deciding between them.

For example:
NX60:
hi-res+ screen - 5 points
wi-fi option - 2 pts
keyboard - 1 pt
built-in screen cover - 2 pts
jog dial/back button - 2 pts
total: 12 pts

T|T:
bluetooth - 3 pts
reflective screen - 1 pt (I use lots outside where reflective is superior to transflective)
understated/small form - 4 pts
5-way D button - 3 pts
total - 11pts

nx wins 12 to 11*

*note, the above is purely a fictional example. i personally would rather have the T|T than any other handheld regardless of cost, but ymmv.

I have NX70 and mt wife use TT. I like TT for it's speed and size. fiveway button and 4 hard button that can be use anytime. But I like 320x420 screen, and Hi-res+. Plus my nx can be view landscape!!! I don't use the keyboard at all... If you don't care much about Hi-Res+ and bigger screen then stay with TT

Anyways, the 1910 is aight, but nothing spectacular. I think that its a good device, but it definitely doesn't run around the nx like flying balloons...whatever that means, as it doesn't make much sense.

The NX is a good pda, the only fault is its size, but thats not that big of a deal. I think that if you can live with the taller size, then its for you.

Well, I used to have Toshiba E740. Love the device except that I need to reset it every day... That's why I trade it with NX70. and I still think TT is a lot faster then NX...

For Office applications Like Word, Excel, Outlook... I think PPC does a lot better job then palm... I miss this the most about PPC.

I hear that often, but when I compared my Clie containing Isilo and Word2Doc on the PC to their Pocketword, there was no comparison. I could find individual words contained within the doc, the PPC could not. The Doc size was also much smaller. True, I had to pay an extra $17 for Isilo and $10 for Word2doc. but the combo was better then the PPC.

Multimedia is definitely not a tie with the NX60 and H1910.

Haha, right. My ipaq would be so choppy with vids that it was annoying. However, the edge does go to PPC for what formats it supports (divx, WMV, mpeg).

By the way, is that the only thing you could think of ___? Seriously, stop riding the PPC's so hard damn.

With the latest version of Docs2Go and QuickOffice, I think that Palm has a much better lead in Office applications over PPC. Even Brighthand.com did a comparison of Docs2Go vs Pocket Office and found Docs2Go to be a much better solution.

Importluva, I just wanted to say that I totally agree with your chart except that I think that the H1910 is the sexiest of all units. If it ran Palm OS5, I would want it. I think even the NX is sexier than the T|T.
