From time to time I scan the calculator offerings looking for that right calculator that fits my look and feel needs, can graph, do hexidecimal, and is progammable. Nothing ever really struck me until I just stumbled across the ImagiMath set of apps which happen to also be on clearance for $2.98 at Amazon (formerly $40.) They're not state of the art technology -- like circa 2002 -- but I find the calculator (so that's what happened to Parens), grapher, and equation solver to be darn good for the price. It's not actually programmable in the caculator sense but the equation solver and graph annimator fit my needs.
$2.98 at Amazon while quantities last and a quick search shows other places selling it for less than $10.
Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone's interested,
Frank
P.S. Yes, I've tried EZCalc, Power48, MegaCalc, NeoCalc, PowerOne, and Lyme -- all very good in many ways but for some reason ImagiMath floats my boat the best. ;)
