camera crashes unit

hey gang, need a little help. if i try to take a picture or initiate the CLIE Camera program, it crashes the unit with the following message;

SystemMgr.c,Line:5852,
SysLinkerStub():Failed to load the shared library.

and then goes on to suggest a soft reset. which i've done with no help.

i've searched through this forum, and the sony help database, but cannot find anything relevant. i've recently updated with the latest mark/space MissingSync, Avantgo, Mobile Stream Landscape, FullMoviePlayer (with the Avx codexes). can't honestly say which tipped it all over, since i use the camera only on occasion.

all the avantgo, mobile stream, and fullmovie files have been deleted, with the exception of the Avx codex's (even with a warm reset). but this doesn't do it.

i'm wondering if in my housecleaning, i've tossed a wrong library file? any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks!

well, since nobody had any ideas, i did the only last step i know. did the hard reset.

this was my first ever, in nearly a year since i bought my th55. not bad considering all the apps i've tried out, kept or trashed. and if anyone is interested, the camera is up and working, the files i wanted deleted are now gone, and i'm happy again.

I had the same problem only a few weeks ago, however even a hard reset couldn't fix the error for me. Sony collected the unit and returned it a few days later fixed.

No idea what caused it or when it went wrong as I rarely use the camera, but sometimes the CliE gremlins get in.
