That is a pretty descriptive title.

I have Palm Reader, the free edition, and I would like some ebooks.

Does anyone know of a site that I can get free ebooks already in the palm reader format?

AFAIK, there's not more than a handful of free ebooks in Palm Reader format. Palm Reader's site (www.palmdigitalmedia.com) has a lot of fairly cheap books though, and the reader can read other formats, such as Palm DOC, so you can search around for those at memoware.com and fictionwise.com

Memowise has various books in the PalmReader format -- you can even use the Advanced search feature to search by format. You can find it here:

I actually went through a time when I converted a whole bunch of Gutenberg books in PalmReader format. It's actually pretty simple to convert books; you just have to use the PalmReader markup tags. The instructions can be found:
