Hello,
I'm actually trying the Decuma software on my Tungsten T3. It's a great tool, but when i use it with Documents To Go (v7), it doesn't work well. It doesn't past correctly the text I wrote. The first part is generally missing.
Is this a know problem ?
Thank you.

It should work, make sure you are entering the text correctly, though I use Graffiti anyway, because I am quicker at input that way.

Hi. Decuma works fine for me with Docs To Go 7. Using it on a TJ27.

Well, i definitly think that it doesn't work.
Decuma works with all the software, but it doesn't like docs to go or Quickword,

Maybe it works better on Clié.

Hi,
test the Virtual Text field option in the settings of WordToGo(open a doc, and then go into the menu and then into prefs).
I have heard that the virtual text Field makes DocsToGo compatible with third partie's text tools-however, you sometimes have image distortion then!

Thank you, i tried the options of WordToGo, but it doensn't solve the problem.
I also tried with Quickword and it seems to be the same problem.

Maybe it works better on Clié.Actually, Decuma doesn't work with Docs to Go at all on my Clie. when i try and activate it (pressing the little 'a' in the bottom left of the graffiti area), it just pops up Docs to Go's own keyboard. i've never found a way to get Decuma to open up with Docs to Go!

daver is right, I jumped the gun without thoroughly testing. However, it does open on my TJ27, it just doesn't copy to the app properly. I would suppose that this is due to the non-standard way that DTG handles virtual keyboard input, etc...

so, in that case:
does anyone know how to get Decuma to work with Docs to Go? and if so, PLEASE share. i'm sure there's tons more people out there dying to know.
i'm not in dire need for it, but it'd be nice for the times i don't have my keyboard on me...
Works fine on my TH55. I swipe the SB to bring up decuma, and there's no sign of any of the problems you mention. I'm using v7 BTW and previously used v6 similarly without error.

i'm assuming here that "SB" stands for silk-button(s).
how'd you get the SB swipe to activate decuma? i can only get it to get hte on-screen keyboard to come up.

to get Decuma to come up with the 'swipe' method, simply press down on the silk plugin button then swipe it over to the time, that will switch graffiti to decuma, do it again to go back.

It stands for status bar. Swiping left to right, or vise versa, on the status bar will switch the silk plugin.

OH! in that case, never mind. i have a TJ37, so no status bar.
in that case, does anyone know how to get Decuma to work with Docs to Go and a TJ-series Clie?

You most likely have to download it and install it. Im trying to remember how it worked on my old TG-50. Do a web search for decuma if you really want it, but be warned, the company just got bought, so it may be harder to find.

actually, decuma is pre-installed into the TJ37's ROM. so it's there in my handheld's memory. dunno how to get it to work with Docs to Go, still.
