Installed mine also just seconds ago. After the reset it should be in the group "internet"; if not check all applications; if there is no icon, check whether it is installed at all with "info"; just sort be size; the thing is more than 2 mb big.

You need at least 6mb free in RAM to install Net Front. The only app that will allow Net Front to run from the MS is PowerRun. This will allow you to move Net Front to the MS after it's installed into RAM.

The 6mb is for "unpacking".. The final file size will be around 2 megs. Netfront can also be placed in Flash RAM via Jackflash.

n2ifp,

You had mention that "You need at least 6mb free in RAM to install Net Front. " but just for your info, i try it on NZ90 with about 3 MB left on ram but still able to install smoothly.

It worked to me fine...

btw: the 6M you need in the RAM, not in the MS...

after hotsync, you get the 4M back...

Are there any major changes between the version of netfront shipped with the NX(Netfront 3.0 Rev 1.1.27) and the version shipped with the NZ (Netfront 3.0 Rev 1.1.3)?
Also, is there any way that a person can "upgrade" to this newer version?

Whoa, mine is 1.1.19. Any ideas on the revisions and where to get the lastest versions?

I'm having this problem as well, have you had a response?
THere's no icon but if you look in the filing system it shows up as being on the Clie. Wierd.

Cheers

Try hot syncing it to the MS (using the change destination feature of hotsync) and then moving the file from the MS to the RAM. This has worked for other things.

There is an updated version of Net Front. The update is version 3.1 .

To Install it:
1. Install net front 3.0
2. Back up the clie's ram to ms via msbackup
3. mount the ms card on your pc.
4. remove net front 3.0 prc file from backup folder
5. Add netfront 3.1 to the backup folder
6. restore clie from backup.

viola netfront 3.1

If you need the file, email me your request. beavermjr@aol.com

Haven't tried that but I was able to succesfully install 3.1 on NZ90 by renaming, copying file using Palm insider Pro. very simple, worked beautifully and the new version (3.1) actually works! Can't believe this isn't an update on sony's website. 3.0 never worked on any of the websites I tried.
