UX50 - dust on the camera lens

Pretty self explanitory - now, how do I get rid of it? The lens is so small that it's virtually impossible to dislodge anything stuck to it. Compressed air or vacuum won't budge it.

It's really noticeable in pics (black blobs on the screen) so ignoring it isn't an option.

I'm quite happy to strip the clie down if necessary, but I'd prefer some detailed instructions.

I would use a small piece of lens cleaning cloth on a toothpick, taking care not to push too hard! You may need to use a lens cleaning solution. I have been lucky at keeping mine clean. Also be sure to check out the Brando lenses - cool beans.

use a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol...compressed air works for me better though.

I have had excellent results using a Q-tip dipped (lightly) in rubbing alcohol.

cotton swab is something that we know here too. Once again, I am an Austrian!!! Thank you all for the hints, the SX1 is currently in repair;-P
