Just wanted to see if anyone else ran into the bug I stumbled across. I was checking v2.1 (I'm a long time FontHackV user) with FontSmoother. The font settings are not holding in Clie Organizer. I may have the font specified for "all applications" when I open CO (or may not), but as soon as I view a record or switch to another CO app, the fonts revert to the system fonts and stay that way. Sometimes quitting CO and restarting brings it back, sometimes not.
I do not see the same problem with 2.0 with or without FontSmoother, so it may be in the code introduced in FontHackV 2.1.

I forwarded this to the FontHackV author, together with a suggestion from me how to fix it. It should be easy.

Just a quick update. I also reported the bug to Yang Zhiqiang. I have just done some quick testing on a beta that he sent to me and it looks like the problem is solved! How's that for a quick fix? I would expect this to be out soon.

Does anyone know of a way to convert fonts to Font Hack V format using the Mac OS?

Theoretically, you could recompile PalmFontConv. Or run a PC emulator and use the Windows version.

FontSmoother comes with full lifetime-of-product upgrades. Just hotsync the new shareware version, and it'll automatically register.
