If you install the english version of McText in RAM and create a folder named Texts on the same level as Palm, all the text files under that folder will appear in your launcher, once a new tab has been created:Go to Categories/Edit/Add/McText/Next/Next/'Enter a name for your tab'/OK
McText can be found in the zipped files of McFile (http://www.jade.dti.ne.jp/~imazeki/palm/McFL/data/McFL22Beta4.zip).
McText is a text file reader in HiRes+ with a choice of text and background colors.
Enjoy! :)

What do you mean by text files? What program/programs creates text files?

I had McText installed before, but I could not figure out what it is for. So I ended up deleting it.

Text files are just that, text with little or no formatting, ending with a .txt extension.
Popular format for eBooks and program help files, as they can be opened by a variety of programs on the Palm and PC platforms.
To edit those files or produce your own on the Palm, you'll need a freeware program like Sied (http://benroe.com/sied/) or VFSi (http://www.freewarepalm.com/graphics/vfsi.shtml) (with plug-in). I prefer VFSi as it works with large files in HiRes+ and doubles up as a .bmp picture viewer.
