screen will not respond to taps with sylus

i was at a meeting and tried with the wifi card which works well at home to access a wireless system in the office and it froze ... the screen will not respond to the tapping of the sylus ... i have done several hard resets and get it to open an at the digitize it is frozen ...any help will be appreciated ... i am at a loss ... it has been working up untli this like a charm
