This doesn't mean that it will never become a reality. It's just not going to happen in the near future. If there is enough demand and sony can make money off of it, it will be made.

Oh you're definately right about that.
But, like many others, I was defenately looking forward to production of this wonderful idea but as soon as I came across the bad news my jaw just dropped. I mean they could have atleast mentioned at the time that it was a concept. But what the hey being concept donesn't mean it won't exist.

I read somewhere it is only in the Memory Stick Duo format or something. Anyone know what the heck is this "Duo" thingy? Does this mean we cannot use it (if it's released) with the standard memory stick slot?

duo is a smaller version of a mem stick, adapters available to put duo cards into normal mem stick slot.
