Yeah, I'm pretty active in this one, bt I'm still pretty new to the website. I just found it a few last weekend at a book store in Atlanta, Ga. Also, I started a forum my self. I'm trying to find out how I came install apps with or without the program "MS IMPORT" or "MS EXPORT". Jdog

u could go to your clie desktop and then click on install and then click on add and then browse thorugh your hard drive for the apps u downloaded

I already tried that... It keeps saying that it will be installed to the MS, but When I review that log it says that I need a certain type of app to install programs to the MS. Could it be that I have an "S320"?? Jdog

I think that the idea of making one forum for old models is great. May be some other brands (not Clie) could be discussed in it as well.

I bet if Cliesource opened a new forum for every model of every Palm and PPC they would get much, much more business, which would translate into much greater revenue from advertising and sales.

I own an S300. I used it till last year when it broke. You guys talk about it like it's ancient. it's not. It had a quicker processor then any other palm at the time, better screen clarity then the palms as well. The buttons on the thing were far better then the ones on my TG50, and the jog dial feature made all my palm friends jelous.

The S300 started it all for you guys. I love my TG50 but I miss using my S300 a lot. this Forum should remain or something as an memorial or at least combine the older models into one forum.

That might also cause major slow down as more people are on and trying to post. If the Cliesource server is able to handle that much bandwidth..hmm maybe?

On to topic... I still own a S360, I still kinda use it for ramdom use. One forum with older or discontiue models is a great idea.

I don't think we should delete this forum, despite it's lesser activity, because how would you feelthe forum for your model was deleted :eek: ? I'm an NX user, and would not like if someone deleted the NX forum :( . You never know who may be an S series user in the future, someday it may be you ;) .

I've just recently discovered the joy of owning a clie... albeit a hand-me-down S360...  Which I thought equal only to sliced bread, until I found this site.  I've since realized, that I NEED an upgrade... time to go shopping!

IN the meantime, if the older series are reconfig'd... please don't send them far; I'm sure i'm not the only one still learning?!

S300 is great it will turn out like the amstrad and commador C64 soon. It's a classic and u will be ashamed when u shut this thread down GRRRRR

I have been using my S360 since March 2003 ... and I find it pretty much does everything I need a PDA to do.

And once more ... my S360 only cost $69.

Plus I got practically every accessory imaginable for it at around 80 - 90% off the original prices.

The word "discontinued" can be a wonderful thing !!!

I have had and S320 since around November 2002 and it's still just like new except a few bumps and scratches here and there... But other than that my Clie has been everything that I've needed so far. Now when I go to college and haven't gotten a laptop yet- then I'll need to upgrade, but until then I can stand what i have since I'm only using it in the afternoons and on weekends anyway.

Well it looks like not much action has been taken on this thread, so I'll advocate to keep the S series separate as I just purchased two like new units on eBay (S360 for the wife and S320 for me).

I went went round and round trying to figure out why my S320 would not HotSync via USB on my XP machine but my wifes would. Needless to say I finally got Sony tech support to help after many e-mails and phone calls. S320s are not compatible.

Thankfully the vendor that sold me the S320 allowed me to return the S320 for an S360 for an extra $10 plus $5 shipping.

I wish I had found out about this site sooner. I could have avoided a lot of headaches.
