The latest news on the landscape app for Clies (by means of an email to me):

The app is on the way to release.
Besides PinMgr 1.1 we added support for Sony virtual silkscreen API,
so many standard TH55 applications work in landscape mode. Namely:

Address
CLIE Files
CLIE Mail
CLIE Viewer
Date Book
Memo pad
NetFront
Picsel Viewer (though this one also supports landscape by its own means)
To Do List

Very exciting! This answers why they said Netfront would work, when a few of our developers were having questions about how the Palm API would work with Sony's apps. We now have an answer.

Actually the scientific formula for happiness is really just: TH55. you're talking about bliss, Nirvana, etc. Happiness comes with plugging the 55 in for the first time. The others follow... ;)

*Still hoping to see portrait for my UX40*..

Although, I can imagine how excited you TH users must be! I'd be too if I had a TH55!

The first public demo comes out this week, as per my interpretation of "second week of February.

It should...just like CO should work on the UX and it does (except for the arrow in landscape mode)

Wow I can't wait for the landscape act. Before mobile stream, everyone was so skeptical about the TH55's ability to ever swith to landscape so I kind of just gave up hope. Now that it is actually going to happen, its even more exciting!

Anyone got any ideas on how I could mod my KB100 so I can lay the TH55 on its' side when typing in Docs To Go? Hahaha...
