Let me make this long (hair pulling) story short ...
Love my TG-50 Bt'ing to my Cingular servcie phone. Allows me to browse via NetFront 3.1. To get e-mail I used the browser, but it's slow and kludgy (redrawing the screen each time I make a change). So am installing SnapperMail (have heard nothing but great things). After numerous trials & tribulations (and e-mails to tech suppport) got it working (problems were in memory, the downside of the TG50).

So I'm happily sending and receiving using the SMTP services ... almost. I get error messages to some ISP's. I should say that the SMTP server I'm using is our companies and we go out via RoadRunner's business service. The error messages I'm getting are

START MANUAL: 2/2/05 4:37 pm
SEND:
Authorizing SMTP
SMTP Rcpt To: command failed: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for xxx@tampabay.rr.com
DURATION: 5
END: 2/2/05 4:37 pm

Authorizing SMTP
SMTP Rcpt To: command failed: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for xxx@ge.com
DURATION: 20
END: 2/3/05 7:53 am

I'm told that this has something to do with a RoadRunner SMTP message going through the Cingular service to another ISP (even RR) which thinks that means it's spam.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
