tg50 hard resets

When my tg50 crashes or whatever and I do a soft reset, sometimes it does a hard reset without a confirmation menu or anything. It just looks like a soft reset until it asks me to set the date and time and redigitize the stupid thing.

What is its problem?!

It always likes to do it when im not home!!!

This is one of those things that really only happens on the TG-50. It may happen on other devices, but I havent seen it. Generally this occurs if there is a piece of corrupted software on it. It happened to me when I was beta testing a program on it. Be thankful you dont have a PPC device, they can be hard reset with a software command. Palm PDAs at least are not supposed to be able to do this.

is this "corrupted software" the OS or something I installed? Would there be an OS update for it if it was? I've had my tg50 for a couple years and I can't remember when it started, but it's been happening for a while.
