Man, this keyboard is really beginning to irritate me. I really like the keyboard itself. Typing is very accurate and the keys are a good size for my (and especially my wife's) fingers. However, this thing has very poor access to programs.

For example, ctrl+m brings up the menu in any program, but you can only access the first menu in the row. Why can'tyou arrow right and get the other menus in the row?? Also, when using datebook 5, I can access a todo page but after typing the todo the keyboard can't get the fields in the to do page other than date selection (category, alarm settings, font, etc. are inaccessible to the keyboard.) I have many more examples but will not but will not bore you with them

The design of this machine leaves me to think that the keyboard is supposed to relegate thestylus and graffiti to the sidelines but I am constantly reaching for the stylus so I can access basic functions in any given program. Is this poor implementation by Sony or are these mini keyboards somewhat limited? Am I the only one frustrated by this?

Thanks,

Don

The NX is like that, I would like to be able to 'tab' through fields and type in, as it is, in some programs ctl-tab will move to the next field but sometimes it won't and I can't seem to get it transverse to buttons very easily. A combination of pressing and holding the jog-dial while scrolling will sometimes switch the type of object that is highlighted but it seems troublesome to me.

With regards to menus, you can use Ctrl-up/down to scroll through the menu items and Ctrl-Enter to select.

Try OKEY - which should help a lot...

Welcome to all the complaints the TREO users have had for a while now...

I'm thinking of getting a TG-50 as a backup palm device...so I'm reading with enthusiasm...
