Are there any other programs out there that are like avantgo where you can hotsync your webpages and few them later?

Try iSiloX for the Palm OS. It is additionally high-resolution, whereas AvantGo is still frustratingly low-resolution. Not as intuitive, but more powerful.

AvantGo alternatives have been discussed at length on this and other forums. There's an entire website (http://www.turcic.com/forums/index.php) devoted to the topic, which will give you all the advice you need about iSilo, HandStory and Plucker (Plucker is free, the others cost money). All three have different strengths and weaknesses, but any of them will do a better job than AvantGo, though you'll have to put in some time and effort.

can i used programs like the weather channel and hollywood.com to load weather and movie listings on plucker?

Go to TURCIC.COM and read up. You'll be a clip-a-holic in no time. I just recently got the whole iSilo thing figured out, and now I can't believe I ever lived without it....
