Man I wish we did not lose all that data here. If I get some extra time I will go through some of it again. If anyone else wants to jump in feel free:)

The software you want is on the Sony Install CD 'sound converter'.

The Sound Converter that comes with your Clie can only convert MIDI type "0" files. You need a MIDI reader/converter to resave in the "0" format. I use Microsoft Recording Session. It's an older piece of software, but it's free and easy to use. Just load the MIDI you want to convert and re-save it as a MIDI Type "0" file, then just pull the file into Sound Converter. It's easier than it sounds.
To play MP3s on you T615, you'll need the MP3 player attachment that Sony sells. The T615 can't play MP3s through the built-in speaker like the T665 and others with a built in MP3 player.
I hope that helps answer your questions. Good Luck! :)
You can use SoundRecorder which comes with Windows to convert WAV files too. They need to be saved as at 22.050mhz to be used. I used them with Datebook5 and aAlarm.

you can use kinoma to convert mp3/wav to kinoma format, and you can play within kinoma. works very good, i usually lower my mp3 to 56kbps before i convert it so its a small size.

In the UK, (I don't know about US) another limitation, when using mp3 on T615/625, is that without a "White" memory stick, resident in the Sony, I was unable to hear audio. Sony said that it is due to copywrite. When you buy a white Memory Stick you pay quite a bit extra for copywrite. Interestingly, a friend has an NX70v, and he has a memory card reader on his PC and is able to record Mp3 on to a regular memorystick on his PC, and play it on his SONY NX7v. In theory, though, he should not be able to record via his Sony NX70v directly onto regular Mstick, only on white ones. If he can, it may be because of:
A) NX70v follows the new direction of Palm, and is not compatible with OS4.1 Sonys, and so doesn't follow the "White" memoryStick Rule, or:
B)My friend imported his NX70 from US to UK, and maybe US versions don't use the "White" Memorystick rules.
Also, with my T625, I was also unable to hear audio that came with high Resolution Kimono Music videos, Sony said due to me not having a white memory stick in my Sony.
headphones and addapter cost £90 ($135) in uk, but probably sells in us for $100.
Good Luck.
