Media Launcher cannot play my movie I converted with Image Converter. It save the format is not supported. Anybody help me with what files I need?
I have the same problem, whats worst is I cant even play the movies I recorded with the camera.
It says Playback failed, this format is probably not supported.. http://www.1src.com/forums/images/smilie/images/smilies/confused.gif
I used the IC that came with Sony's disc. Maybe it is the codec or do I need a special file along with the Media Launcher I may have missed...

MediaLauncher is just a application (like MoviePlayer). For video playback, the most important part is codex. For UX's users, you can play MQVs which are converted by IC 1.x. For MP4, you need to install VZ's MP4 codec and libraries (like Avx MQTParser.prc)to make it works. Check files beside MediaLauncher are complete or not. You can try to search in here or VZ forum for details.
I used IC 1.X for MQV - Standard
MediaLauncher sees the file but when I play it it gives me:
Playback failed, format not supported.
I dont understand why I have this error because the UX has the codecs installed in the ROM already.
