Apple's got a new Powerbook

Only a G4 for now, but I'm positive this is a stopgap for the G5. The best part is that they finally have a scrolling trackpad and the 15"+17" models have dual DVI.

The scrolling track pad is just software. I have something called SideTrack which does the same thing. Besides some audio additions and that HD protection these things seem like fillers until the G5 is ready.

SideTrack is just scrolling o the side, though. That's been in the trackpads since forever. This you use 2 fingers at the same time to scroll in any direction.

Apple's implementation is in the hardware, and the functionality is different than Sidetrack. However, a hack has been released to provide the same 2-finger functionality in software.

I willl probably stick with Sidetrack though, because I like assigning the corners to Expose.
