View Full Version : Screen Protectors for other clies fit the TH55?
I need to get some screen protectors for my TH55. Compusa has some screen protectors for other clies (some of them 320 x 480) screen size but not for TH55 specifically.
Should screen protectors for other 320 x 480 clies fit the TH55 screen?

I would suggest ordering from Brando or Boxwave. The Fellows screen protectors and others that you find in the chain stores are not exactly the cat's meow...

I think the Fellowes WriteRights are great. Other screen protectors touting washability and reusability are rubbish. I had some Boxwave Cleartouch Crystals for my TH55. When I tried applying the first one, dust got under it. Well, I tried to wash it but that did not go well. First off, you can't dry it with anything 'cause you'll just get more dust stuck on it. Second, if you just leave it somewhere to dry (other than a laboratory clean room), dust will just get stuck to it too. The Fellowes WriteRights come in packs of 12 and can be found for pretty cheap now. They are also pretty easy to install. You can use WriteRights made for the NZ90, NR and NX series on the TH55. I'm using NX70 WriteRights on my TH55.

I second for Fellowes WriteRights. Another problem with other thick protectors is This DIGISPOKES (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45669&highlight=digispoke). So buyer beware! You may unload your $15-30 for more frustrations. After replacing my other screen protectors with Fellowes, those digispokes went bye bye.

Martin Fields are awesome, very well engineered, and worth every penny. They stick to nothing but screens, do not accumulate dust (even in winter with plenty of static around) and are incredibly easy to wash. I'd say go for them, they're one of the best upgrades I've put on my Palm. And yes, I checked the spokes test, and no problems here, even though I didn't clean my screen when applying it (a big no-no).
Best of luck!

I had The belkin screen protector but they were thick and i bought the wrong size so it was really ugly. So i went to micro center and found I concepts PDA screen protectors for the NR and NX series i got them for $9.99. the only problem is putting on the screen protector
It checked the mirco center (http://http://www.microcenter.com/search_results_e.phtml?dropdown_method=keyword&dropdown_keyword=screen+protector) website but they don't have the NR and NX series. I guess have a have to call if they have it.

Apparently digispoke is mainly happening on TH55 due to large screen and flimsy digitizer. That is what he has and I have.

I googled "martin fields" and found this:

Report back when you don't have digispoke after spending $18 for a screen protector.

I have a Martin Fields protector. Its been on and off a dozen times now, washed but not dried (just flick the water off and re-apply damp). Got mine on Ebay!

Not having any screen protectors specifically for my new TH55, I was able to use Toshiba e550g Fellows screens savers.
The height is right, but they were wider, so I had to trim then down. It took 3 tries to get a cover on that had no dust and no bubbles.....
