Behold!! :)

After much deliberation, (and my wife's OK) I finally purchased a Canon 20D. I already had a large investment in Canon lenses from my two film EOS bodies, so as far as that goes it was a no-brainer.
I've only been shooting around the house for a day but I can tell you now that I love this camera. Hopefully I will be able to post some other images (if anyone is interested) once the weather around here starts to get better.
The quality of the pictures with my 17-40 1:4L lens are unbelievable. At ISO 400 to 1600 I would say even better than film. And the thing feels solid. More so than my Elan 7NE.
Well, I think I'll get back to playing with my new toy.
Later... :)

Freak, my weef wants a high end camera, but not Canon. I'm trying to convince her otherwise. :(

Cannon is good, I am still a fan of Nikon. :) I would love to see the pictures though.... that is the one way to change my mind. :)
Congratulations on your Canon 20D purchase!

I just noticed, great picture of the duck... but you missed out on the fuzzy shadowy picture of sasquach in the middle left side.... another opportunity missed... *sigh* ;)

Hey, thanks Iceman and SamCat. I didn't see that thing either until you mentioned it. I'm not sure what it is. Here is the original picture from which I cropped the duck.

OK. Last one I promise. :) I am really impressed how well this camera get the exposure right so often. Hardly any adjustments needed. I love it!

I told you it was Sasquach, he was watching you, or the duck... maybe he wanted a duck dinner and you scared them away... if you hear a strange noise and a knock on your door tonight... don't answer it....
