Pi Direct subdirectory

Can anyone tell me why I can only enable one subcategory at a time. I arrange my applications in several subcategory like
Palm/Office, Palm/Utilities..... but when I open ZLauncher I only see the icons for the applications that were in the subcategory I last opened before closing PiDirect. What can I do to resolve this issue. Should I keep all my applications in the same subcategory?
Also is there anyway to sync application like Quicken or ACT or QuickOffice with their
desktop conterpart when they are in memory stick using Pi Direct?
Please can someone help me I am going mad in here.

PiDirect only lets you enable one directory on the memory card at a time.

You can put up to a hundred apps before you would notice any slowdown in scanning the PiDirect folder.

Thank you for your answers. So I guess that mean I have to install all my programs in the same subcategory if I want them to be available all the time . Is there any alternatives?

You can select multiple categories for card scanning in Launcher X.
