or is 1src.com unusually slow somedays? Has anyone else experienced this? Some days it takes minutes to pull up a single page or thread here. Other days, it's a click and it's done. :(

It is sometimes bad enough where I have to reload the page, but usually that is all that it takes.

Whats an OC?

I find running Proxomitron to cut down on the ads speeds it up, espically those dreadful double underlined green ones ):

I no longer bother trying to surf 1src (or any other board really) when I`m on dialup, but seems fast enough 90% of time on cable.

OC - Optical Carrier. The backbone that the site runs on.

jjesusfreak01 - I'm in Durham, not even a stone's throw from Raleigh. :D Did you guys have a lot of snow or ice this weekend? We got absolutely nothing here. I'm beginning to think our weather people smoke pot during their lunch break.....

I haven't had any problems with 1src being slow... at least nothing major (e.g., minutes to pull up a thread).

I'm in Raleigh (border of Wake Cty/Durham Cty) and we didn't get squat. A little sleet and that was about it. Meteorologist... that's the job to get! Be wrong all the time and still stay employed.

I like how they missed that snow a couple of weeks back and now anytime the following conditions are met, we're going to have a blizzard:

B. It's going to rain
