I got sent this version a few days ago, and it really is much more stable. I've only had one Fatal Exception with this version.

Further good news is that Red Mercury just sent me a new version of AI to test with regard to the error when exiting if AI was in Flash, and this new version took care of the problem. Brayder helped pinpoint where the error probably was, and they were right in the case of AI. Great example of two great developer teams working together to benefit us!! I don't believe the new version of AI is on their web site yet, but I would imagine that it will be their soon.

Here's what the problem likely is for those apps getting the error upon exit; I would send this along to the developers of your favorite apps if they have this problem. I'm sending it to Blue Nomad, the developers of Wordsmith.

"If they are using MemPtrRecoverHandle, that is the worst offender. It cannot be used for resources of an Application in ROM. However, they might be doing something else. You can tell them to contact me if they need more details." Brayder's email for them to contact is support@brayder.com.

Wouldn't life be much easier if they posted what the latest revision was somewhere on their webpage?

Are you talking about me? Oh pls la, i can get it for free at other websites. It just that i forgot to record the website address only. They are more helpful and not so mean to others like no body business. Don't expect me to ask over here again.

I think this just has the bug fix for the NX; no new functions.

As for your 2nd question, let me describe how Flash is working; it's similar to a partition. Originally all devices have a single partition that is partially full. Jackflash basically makes two partitions, one that contains only the space used by factory-installed apps, and then the other partition which becomes the free space that we get and see using JF. When you release the flash, you're basically converting it back into a single partition that you have no access to. You only want to do this if Flash gets corrupted, or before you want to use Jacksprat to delete items (which NX owners won't have to worry about). So, hopefully, you won't need to do this. If you did this without moving the apps your put in Flash back to RAM, they'll be lost when you select this option.
