I'm majoring in journalism, and the AP stylebook is like my best friend now. But I want something I can cary around better.
Does anyone know of a program or an e-book of the AP stylebook? If so, please direct me to it. Thanks for the help.

The AP stylebook is a guide of the rules the Associated Press follows. It's so that all AP writing comes out the same, and tries to minimize confusion. It deals with things such as Caps, dashes, numbers, things like that. The average day person doesn't realy need it at all, but journalists and reporters really should have one.

Now this seems interesting for me and my blog/online magazine where I am working at! Do you know where one can obtain an ebook version of this?

If there is a web/html version somewhere, you could use the freeware/opensource Plucker (http://www.plkr.org/) to convert it and carry on your palm.
Or if you have a word doc you probally could do same thing.
You could also use repligo or Isilo to do a similar conversion, but they cost & plucker works very well.

It is available in Acrobat or HTML from the AP but you have to be a newspaper or news website to licence it.

Does the newspaper require a certain circulation?
I wonder if community papers and clubs would satisfy.....
It seems you can purchse it as an individual liscence for $20 USD/year from http://www.apstylebook.com/ which you should be able to 'pluck' or a site liscnce for $180/year which would get you access to it as zipped html/pdf. But that seems incredibly expensive solution for a single user to get a e-copy of it.
I`m surprsied there isnt an equivalent in public domain somewhere. Will have to go hunting...

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but here's an AP Quick Reference Guide (http://www.utexas.edu/coc/journalism/SOURCE/journal_links/AP_style.html) I found online. You can convert it with iSilo.

Using Acrobat 9, you can save the file to your computer, then save it to text, then rework with addition of chapters . . . but not very useful in a palm due to size etc.
As long as it is used in your personal computer it appears to comply with their use restrictions.
