Hello--

I was trying for high quality videos with FMP, IC2, and the VZ90 codecs on my TH-55.

Installed all the codecs (copied of mstick with mcfile, unchecked read-only bits, soft reset), installed fmp, some movies converted with IC2, and some samples.

Now, not only does FMP yield a "file not found" for every single file, but movie player can't play a single video (including all the types it used to be able to play fine).

I've tried restoring the old version of Avx MQTParser and doing a soft reset, but to no avail.

As you can imagine, any help would be appreciated.

All best,

--Sam

Hmmm..., first question. Did you put the files in the correct directory. If this doesnt work, do a backup, hard reset, and if you want, put the codec files in the backup file, and they will be installed that way.

Solved it with a hard reset and editing the mstick backup image removing avx mvqt parser

sorry if this sounds dumb, but don't the codec files go into the unit (and not the memory card) with the other programs?

They do go on the ram, he is talking about editing the backup file on the card, the one you use to restore after a hard reset. Its the easiest way to do a custom hard reset.
