I am a newbee and trying to install Power 48 on my SJ-33.
The problem I am having is getting the 2 ROM files into Palm/Programs.
I have unzipped the files and used MS Import to get them on my memory stick which I can view with MS Gate. My problem is that I keep getting access denied when I try to move the files to Palm/Programs.
This looks to be a great calculator and I would appreciate help in getting it going.
Thanks

Worked this one out on my own.
I was able to move the files from within Windows Explorer rather than using MS Gate.
Power 48 works fine but the default display is a bit small. It will expand but viewing of some of the keys is lost.

I'm trying to do that exact thing, install the files on my MS for the 48. Could you go into more detail how you did it?

Can someone email me Power48.
The website does not work right now and I really want to try it.

that is a mirror that he set up a couple of months ago after the PIC forums killed its bandwidth

What I did was to open MSGate and then use Windows Explorer to locate the drive and then move the files.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! Also, does anyone know where to get an online manual for the 48SX and 48GX calcs?

Thanks,
Funny, I fond the same site... but didn't find the manual.
Is it possible to load the calc software on the emulated one and how? That would be nice!

thats the straight link to the manual--they mirror it on another site

Yes, it is quite easy. Mount the MS as a removable drive as you did during installation and look for the directory /PALM/PROGRAMS/Power48/Objects/.
Copy the program files that you wish to load into the calculator into the above directory. Restart the calculator, and bring up the object load dialog by clicking on the double-ended arrow icon right next to stack level 1. From there you can select one of your program files, press OK, and the emulator will load the program into stack level 1, which you can then store off wherever you wish.
