Hi all Zire 72 users.
I'v bought one of these for my boy and thought he'd love it (I own a TH55), and he does, except for the battery life.
I've seen replacement batteries for other Palm models. My questions is now, how big is the chance that there will be replacement batteries - hopefully much better ones - for the Zire 72 any time soon? The Zire sucks, compared to my Sony TH55, battery life is stunning there.
Hoping for any good news!
Thanks in advance,

Peter

Try PXA Clocker it helps adjust the speed of your processor not to use so much battery life. That's how the TH-55 get's good battery life.

One Tip: make sure your Camera, Voice memo, and Hotsync Apps are running at the system speed they were designed for or they get funky.

One other processsor underclocking utility is Freeclock I think it's more stable and user friendly.

Thanx for your help, will try that. But what you're basically saying is that there are no replacement batteries yet and there won't be. It only surprised me, b'cause I thought what can be done for one model would also be available sooner or later for other models. But I'll try to slow him down in the meantime.
