Not wanting to start a new "which browser is best" war; i simply wanted to find out if any else has gotten the page fault error in module 68k....message ? Since reinstalling NetFront, I always get this error after a page starts to load, causing a soft reset on my NX. This is different than the page too big error that I used to get. Anyone else seen this error and have any idea how to fix this? Thanks

No, but IMHO NetFront is total crap! One of my biggest beefs with Sony for putting out such an app. Right in line with Clie Viewer. This is where PPC has one up, no excuse for not having a decent browser... Rant Off!

I guess n2fip always misses lines like that and he never fails to rant his rant  Besides, Netfront is the best browser for PalmOS MUHAHAHHAHAAH :D And PocketPC has more than just web browsing up on PalmOS. Take VFS support, memory management, GPS navigation ...

But on-topic, I had some crashes for a short while too yes. I can't remember what I did to fix it though. Probably have some memory freed up (deleting programs or moving them to memory stick), cleared the cache or reinstalled Netfront (or any combination of the above).

This might be the error whereas NetFront attempts to access a cookie which is no longer there, thus causing the crash. Try clearing the cache and setting the cookies to 'never accept' then manually deleting the cache and cookie files.

As for Larry (larry, larry, larry, what are we going to do with you.?)... I use NetFront on a daily basis to view this forum, read news (Drudge Report works well!), get weather, etc... If I get a too large error (seldom do), I simply hit the okay and go on my way... It usually just won't load a large graphic or such. I have yet to find another browser that gives a zoomed out (-) view and is 320x480. Now with the addition of JackFlash, I don't even mind the large footprint (in fact, I've maxed out my cache setting since I have all this newfound room in RAM).

Cheers, Rich

p.s. How much did you pay for NetFront, Larry???

ps2 (not an old IBM) Larry is generally an all around good guy, he just has 'issues' with NetFront...probably something from his childhood :-)

Yeah, it's my worst nightmare come true... LOL!

Honestly I don't know how some can put up with it, oh well.

I got IE for WinCE for free and that worked just fine at one time on my ex-PPC.

One of these days I'll have to write a 10 page review on NetFront :D!
