Hi,

I have converted a movie with the (very good) tuto of the site, but when I try to put the .avi file on my card it says 'unknown error'. I know that you have to have a card reader/writer for this but I also know you can do it otherwise and don't have to spend so much money on one.. I already tried naming the file .PDB and on the palm back to .avi but that didn't work. My palm crashed when I tried to open the file with MMplayer.

So can ayone help me?
Thx ;)

un-check "read-only", maybe?
I seem to get this error w/MP3s that are read-only, or "archive."

Firstly, what type of palm are you using? To put a file on the card, you do not need to rename it. Vid files usually are not read only. Encode the video to the resolution of your pda, and it should make it easier to play.
