my iPAQ has a block letter recognizer that is exactly like Graffiti. Have you tried Decuma?

Isn't there some kind of onscreen keyboard/program for the PPC called fitaly? I remember there being a contest to see who could input text the fastest using it. The winner was like 80+ WPM or something.

Try Calligrapher. It's the HWR that used to be used on the Apple Newtons.

once you get used to graffiti, it is the faster of them all,
for me it is even faster than the virtual keyboard, although i know exactly all the keyboard and i can write without watching it (phisical)

Have you tried using larger keys on the virtual keyboard?? It'll take some getting used to but it is 10x more accurate and faster. You can also change the predictive text to suggest multiple words.

I prefer PDa's that have a built in Keyboard and in my opinion think this is the way converged devices will go.
I have an iPaq 4355 so my preferred input method is...
The build in keyboard,
than Letter Rocognizer,
and last transcriber.

OMFG the transcriber is ABYSMAL. I can never get it to work right, so I just removed it with CETuner

A hint, you have to make sure the arrow points to the top of the device. Or else you're telling transcriber to recognize words written diagnoally or in landscape mode.

My preferred modes of text entry:
1. Thumboard
2. Fitalyi
3. Graffiti 1
4. Built-in keyboard
I'm actually in the process of trying to find a good condition TG50 because I really want a keyboard-equipped device. It's too bad no one seems to be putting any energy thumboard-PDA's nowadays...

I'm still using my TG-50, it's remarkable that a 2 year old PDA still holds its own against modern PDAs.

For my money, nothing beats Fitaly.
