Notebook Graphics Cards

I have a SiS 650 32MB Graphics Card in my I-Buddy4 (Notebook). I'm not for sure if it is built into the mother board or not. I-Buddy4 is basically a Desknote which is half Desktop and half notebook. (uses both types of components to make the value of the desknote cheaper than average notebook)

1. If it isn't built in, and is just a card, then if I went out and bought another (greater) graphics card will it fit well in my notebook?

2. If it is built in, then is there any way of upgrading the graphics card?

Not unless that feature was specifically advertised by the manufacturer for your exact model, and no.

Notebooks are like iMacs in that they are ridiculously difficult to upgrade.

I'd give a 99.9% chance that your graphics card is in fact a chip soldered into the notebook's motherboard, and thus effectively non-upgradable.
I haven't seen a portable compy with an upgradable video card since those 30kg sowing-machine sized 8086's that sported 3 ISA slots!!

Ahh, now those were the days, when mobile computing meant you needed a fork-lift truck :P
The mobile geek was a well-toned muscle man... they'd have to be to carry on of them old portables around! :P
