Anyone else having trouble getting Weather on Worldmate. It seems to sync, I get currency updates, but not weather. I've set the interval to 0 and repeatedly synced. I seems to sync each time and the currency updates come through, but no weather.

Thanks Alan, I guess I try uninstalling it and re-installing. Was hoping to avoid that.
It does that every now and then. My problem was the Pilot Install tends to corrupt TWC sync. Re-installing WM is usually work. Ever since I remove PInstall and having 2 PC to sync (home and work) that particular problem is no longer occuring as often. Well, at least if TWC is not syncing at work, it will at home or vice versa.

Dan,
When yours was not working, were you getting the currency updates or just no WM hotsync at all?
Sorry Sebring, I never paid attention about that. I post it here next time it happens to me.

Hmmm..just checked my WorldMate and I'm not getting Weather Updates either! It was all working fine a couple of days ago (being in Jamaica I don't have much need to check the weather on a daily basis!)
As it happens the Currency Converter ain't working either...
Mine still syncing okay (fingers crossed) but I have another problem. That day-night overlay on the WorldMap turns rectangle shape from sinusoidal wave curve. Here is the screenshot of it, below. Have anyone experience this problem? I'm sending it to MobiMate for comment and hopefully a fix.

Dan,
My day/night is also a rectangle now. Don't know what's going on. I have completely uninstalled and re-installed it and still not getting weather, but still get currency updates. Worldmate may be having some problem with their server. Maybe Iraqis hacked them, they are Israeli, afterall. I emailed them this morning and no reply so far.

Dan,
That last "unregistered" was me.
Sebring, I fixed the TWC missing sync problem by not only uninstalling and reinstalling WorldMate.prc, but also WorldMate.exe. Have you tried that? The strange thing was also that, sometimes, the syncing did not happen on the first day. It did sync on the next day, eventhough I set the update to 0 hour.

Dan,
Hmm, this is interesting, I am getting the same with MegaClock???
Yes, I am getting that today too. The weather is okay, but I had trouble with the time server earlier, so I switched to another, but it's okay now.
The Worldmap is still a rectangle though.

I tried disabling Acid Image, ZL, Fitaly all to no avail. Hmm, I wonder what WM and Megaclock have in commom?

TWC is fine for me but I've got the rectangle day/night overlay too. I assumed it was because of the spring equinox (day and night same length of time...).

Thanks! You are 100% correct. I forwarded the date just to be sure. I kind of feel a bit dumb :)!
Everything is fine, except for the first time server giving me fatal errors at times.

Spot on, jfs01 - any software that shows day/night has to reflect the fact that the Earth is tilted on its axis, so the projection onto a flat display has to change shape to accomodate the changing day/night ratio.
Hey that is a great tip! Thanks jfs01. It's a good thing that I left WM alone during all of these strange periods. I did notice the gradual change of the date/night overlay from wave form to rectangle in the last several days. This is way too cool. Now I know when the equinox happened (yesterday?)
