Does powerrun work with programs that require information to be synced with the program e.g. Epocrates, Avantgo, etc.? Thanks

Hello,

Here is a list of some of the programs I have which sync and are stored on the MemCard with Powerrun:
- SplashID
- BrainForest
- QuickOffice
- Daynotez

and the ones which don't :(
- Worldmate
- Avantgo

Worldmate syncs for me while it is stored on MS w/ PowerRun. The updated file is put on Ram when I sync, and as soon as I open Worldmate it picks up the update.

Avantgo syncs from the MS even without Powerrun, just make sure that AGConnect remains in RAM and the option "Use Card" is clicked

Birick,

Concerning Worldmate: are you sure that all data are updated because I noted that weather and time data were not updated when worldmate is stored on the MS with Powerrun?

If you need to sync the data with a conduit, you should only copy the app to the Memory Stick, not the data. Run PowerRun, select the app, and on the menu tap Edit->Move App only. The conduit should still be able to see the data in internal memory.

Just found the settings for use card, though I haven't yet tried it. Go Options-Server Preferences. Click Settings button, choose "Use Card" and select the card.

Just tried this and each time I launch Avantgo it crashes my NX70

To TIMW_DE or anyone else
This is regarding the message above about Avant Go used with Power Run.
TIMW_DE is saying there is an option in Avant Go Connect to enable memory stick (card) .That would allowed for Avant Go to be install in memory stick with its database using Power Run.
Does anyone else knows about that or TIMW if you get that please help me I am going beserk lookinkg for the right way to do this.

I found the server setting in Avant Go but there is no reference to selecting a card .
I have the version 4.2 of the software witch I think is the latest one. Can you tell me more about it. Where exactly do you find the option to select the card?

Concerning Avant Go is it possible that there are two differents versions of the software one in the US and one in Europe.
I canno't find the option you guys are talking about to allow the use of the memory card. Does anyone know about this mystery?

I was using the latest beta from the Avantgo website. I cannot right now check the version because everytime I launch Avantgo it crashes the Clie.

I finally realize I wasn't using the latest version of Avant Go . I was using v4.2 instead of v5.2 beta46.
But after installing it and using PowerRun to move it to MS it doesn't synchronize anymore with my desktop and I get an error message saying that the computer doesn't recognize the version install on my Clie.
But when I move AvantGo back to Ram everything work fine.
I have enable "use card"on the Clie and I left AGConnect on the Ram, I only moved the main program and the database to the MS .So does anyone knows why this is not working for me.
It works for others with the same setting.
Can anyone help me here?????????
