Hi All,

Do you know how to use wireless CF devices with clie NR70? Where is the driver for some devices, or NEVER use?

Regards,

Taniguchi-san,

a WLAN memory stick has been shown at CeBit tradeshow in Germany, but is not yet released. I assume that it will be released around summer time. Anyway, the WLAN Memory Stick will be most probably released in Japan first. So, keep checking out the electronic shops in Akihabara or Shinjuku.

Dear Andy,

Thank you for your comment. What is the name or where is the URL? I found the WLAN SD card (NOT MS) device when I had wrote my previous message. See below...

Oh, it supports PalmOS 4!

We can buy this device at
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=WLAN6060&asource=
but it is not yet released...

Taniguchi-san,

the NR70 has a memory stick slot only. SD is not supported and will supposedly not be supported in future as it is the technology of a competitor.
The SONY CLie NX series has a CF slot. Hence, the NX could be used with the SONY WLAN card.

Moreover, you may also use the AirH card or other cards to get online with 64K or 128K (only available in Japan).

Please also note the NR series will not support the Memory Stick Pro (http://www.memorystick.com/jp/pro_info/index.html) in case you think about using the new MS which will be rather expensive. NX series and higher will support MS Pro.

The prototype of the WLAN Memory Stick can be seen here:

Andy,

I tried to talk to SanDisk customer support that can "Connect" CF use on NR70+CF70.
http://www.sandisk.com/consumer/connect.asp

Most news site announced the device can use on PalmOS4. But the manual not say "Support PalmOS4"...

Hmmm...whitch is correct....
