I want to get a computer (speed, trip distance, etc) for my bike, but haven't decided yet on which one. Actually, I don't even know whether to go wireless or wired; wireless may have range problems, but I won't be worrying about the flimsy cable breaking... I hear the vetta RT88 is good (wireless), has anyone used it? I would really like to stay in the sub $40 price range, so please no ultra bleeding edge recommendations...

I have a Cateye on my Mountain byke and a Topeak Panoram on my road byke.
I like the Panoram better for providing all info without having to cycle through several screens.
I did not buy the wireless types just for personal preference. The traditional ones use fewer batteries, have simpler mechanisms, etc.
