As mentioned previously, the green LED on the SJ33 is rather annoying
when using the Clie in the dark, requiring it to be covered by
one's thumb or bed-sheet, or shirt-tail.
You will be pleased to know that 4 tiny squares of #811 Scotch tape (usually used on the Grafitti area to prevent scratching)
stacked over the LED are enough to diffuse the blinding light to a pleasant glow and
still leave it bright enough to be used in the daytime.
--All the lights that light the way are blinding.
