Remote Commander

Hi,
i would like to know if i install the Remote Commander for Clié T615 (its included with CD installation)to the new Clié SJ-33 (which is not included in the Software bundled) is it going to function ? ( both OS are 4.1)

It will run, the SJ33 dosn't have the enhanced IR that the txxx had, so I don't know if it'll do anything.

Nay.The IR on the SJ series are just to darned weak.They can't control nothin'.I'm using OmniRemote Pro 2.01 and it still don't work well

Using omniremote on a SJ33 is like using donut tires on an 18 wheeler.

I've gotten about a 5 foot range on my SJ30 before.

I read on Omniremote's website that the reason the remote program has poor range is because Sony won't release the code information to allow a version to be released that can utilize the enhanced IR port. It isn't their fault. There is a Yahoo group that you can join that has altered the code of Sony's remote program so that the devices it should have been able to control can now be controlled.

You may be able to add new definitions, But it still doesn't have an enhanced IR, so it is worthless.
