I knew that streaming video wouldn't work on my soon-to-arrive TG50. They said that wireless was too much for the cpu to handle and decode at the same time...But I dont really believe things until i fail myself, so i made a quick and easy app in flash that streams videos :D . The cool part is that vidoes are easier for the cpu to decode. HOWEVER! i dont know if this app is compatable with the clie's version of flash, and i dont have my TG50 to test it yet... so if anyone with an internet enabled clie would please test this, i would be very greatful. People who don't can feel free to watch the nice clip on thier PC's anyway ;)

Go for it. This would be really cool. Ill test it for you. I have access to a TH-55 and a TG-50. Both have Flashplayer.

I tried it and decompressed it. It ended up around 200kb and with my Clie's wifi card all it did was say "Player" when I opened it.

Well, I found out that my clie, the TG50, has flash player 5.0 which cant access the internet. Newer clie's, like UX40/50, TJ37, and a few others have flash version 5.5 which can access the internet. DOH!
There MIGHT not be a way to use the appropriate actionscript in flash 5 becuase that ability might not be present in the newer flash mx (which is what i have....) But hopefully a buddy of mine can help me out :-) luckily, the stream you guys saw was only 150kbps, which is small enough for bluetooth. Plus, that stream will look great on Hi-Res screens becuase of the high pixel density.
