would it be possible to "edit" RotVZ, that the screen rotates when i tap for 3 seconds or so on the VG Button (this purple with the arrow). Would be nice not to open the app. "On the fly" would be nice

At the time CliePet told me it was just a "first release on the go" software, more like a demo.
I guess he had a lot of work then with his reviews of the VZ and his other sofwares (FMP, English translation...).

Most apps won't work well if you rotate them on-the-fly (unless they only use 320x320)
Therefore the proper orientation must be set before the app is launched.

The hacked system library is necessary to disable the automatic orientation switching when an app starts up (ie. everything runs landscape except Organizer)

Making it easier to switch orientation *before* launching a new app would be nice, perhaps with a Shark Swipe or other Shark tool...

As CliePet kind of hints at he was nice enough to share his magic with me and allow me to write a small utility that lets you rotate the screen on the fly. It's currently set to rotate when you press the 3rd hard-key (that's just one I don't use) but I could change it if necessary. One small problem is you can't change the orientation in the launcher (it causes a reset) but can do so everywhere else. the only annoyance is that when you rotate the VG area pops up. if anyone wants it i can clean it up and send it to them (with CliePet's permission, of course).
