I tried searching on the site for a thread, but came up with nothing. Does anyone have a recommendation for an album to put the pics that we take with our Clie's? All I want is something simple so I can view my pictures. I have just spent entirely toooooooooo long messing with Picture Gear Studio. *ugh* There has to be a better way.

Your signature show NX70 mean that you are using it with PG pocket? Do you try it?

I have and use Acid Image. Much better than the built in's that come with the NX70. But, what I'm looking for is something that I can use to view them on my laptop.

What is this? I did a search and could only come up with something for Clie S300...apparently comes with it. Is it strickly for the Clie, or does it have a desktop component?

In doing a search on PalmGear for this, I found it seems to have a desktop component. I don't know if this is only for editing pictures, or for also creating and viewing albums. I will probably download it and try it.

Larry, I have InfranView, and I love it, but how do you use it as an album? Do you mean use the thumbnail function?

Oh I didn't realize you're looking for a desktop viewer ;) I use Thumbs Plus, it's great! Tried irfanview and it didn't work as I wanted it to.

Sometimes I'm not as clear as I want:( But, I will look for Thumbs Plus and see if it is what I need.

There is MGI Photosuite, ACDSee, MS Picture It, and others, but they are fairly expensive.
Sorry, I thought IRFANVIEW did, it does have a slideshow, you can put images on a CD.

Ahhh, for the PC...
Here's one: PixVue
It's found at www.pixvue.com
Not so much an "Album" program as such. It's more of an image viewing utility. It lets you view images (ala IrfanView), maintain a "gallery", and most importantly (and this is the cool part) it will create a compact .pdf "slideshow" that can be emailed and then viewed with any Adobe Acrobat Reader. It integrates with Explorer in that you open a folder of images, select the ones you want to view, right-click, and then select the option from the right-click menu.
It's kinda novel.
